Aims & scope of title

Francophone journal of research in the humanities and social sciences particularly open to the fields of language sciences, literature, didactics of languages ​​and cultures.


Its mission is to implement in its geographical area the Global Program of Scientific Dissemination Francophone Network GERFLINT, Study and Research Group for the French International Language. This is why it mainly publishes articles in this language but without linguistic exclusivity (it can accept up to 3 articles per issue in another language: English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, etc.) and welcomes, as a matter of priority, work resulting from the scientific thought of French-speaking researchers from its geographical area, of which French is not the first language. Like all GERFLINT journals, it pursues the following objectives : defense of French-language scientific research in all human sciences, promotion of dialogue between disciplines, languages ​​and cultures, opening to the entire scientific community, assistance to young researchers, adoption of a wide disciplinary coverage, ensures the scientific quality of the work.
Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement requirements


French magazines published by the GERFLINT which are within the framework of the free access to the scientific and technical information. Their marketing is prohibited. Their editorial policy and articles can be directly consulted and studied in their entirety online. The method of quotation must comply with the French Code of Intellectual Property. The Editorial Board, GERFLINT's scientific cooperation partner, works according to the provisions of the Group's ethical, editorial and confidentiality charter and its most stringent standards. The members of the journal team and scientific publishers are required to respect the dignity of the author and his professional secrecy. The comments made in his articles are in accordance with the scientific debate and are the sole responsibility of the author. Any signatory of an article sent to the editor is obligatorily the author or the co-author. He must obligatorily sign a declaration of originality of his text. He guarantees to the publisher Gerflint the exclusivity of its sending to the editorial staff of the journal, the follow-up of instructions to the authors, the accuracy of the professional data presented, the sources used and the dates of consultation of the referenced sites. In accordance with the rules of ethics and ethics of the field of research, any scientific fraud (plagiarism, self-plagiarism, unexpected withdrawal of article proposal without duly informing the editorial staff) is communicated to the academic and professional circles of the signatory of the proposed article. Any irregular procedure leads to systematic refusal of the text and cancellation of the collaboration.

 

Description of the process of anonymous peer review and corrections

All articles are doubly and anonymously peer-reviewed by the scientific publishers of the issue based on the fit between the evaluator's lines of inquiry and the topic of the article. The article may be accepted, admitted subject to modifications, refused as is or refused. Experts, whatever their field, evaluate precisely:

a. Interest and originality of the subject;
b. Clarity of conceptual approach, definition of methodology, and scientific anchoring;
c. Coherence of ideas;
d. Relevance of findings and conclusions ;
e. The level of writing;
f. The application of the instructions

The results of these justified expertises are systematically sent to the authors in the form of a report. A second round of expertise is provided to evaluate the changes made by the author if changes and corrections have been requested. A third expert is asked if the two evaluators have opposite opinions or if the author expresses a sufficiently argued disagreement on receipt of a negative evaluation.

 

Confidentiality declaration

All personal data (names, addresses, resumes, notices, grids and evaluation reports) which reach the review will be used only within the framework of the humanistic and scientific mission of any review of the GERFLINT, to the exclusion of all other ends. E-mail addresses and professional and scientific profiles are the only personal information published in agreement and in collaboration with the author. The anonymity of the authors and evaluators throughout the evaluation and correction process of the articles is respected. Expert reports are archived and kept confidential.
